Perception - What is Really Happening

In many organisations Leaders and Managers will have a highly developed ability to cognitively analyze factual information. This can in any given situation or interaction make them less sensitive and in some cases even blind to what is actually happening. During the EPT programmes the participant learns how to balance their cognitive (left cerebral hemisphere) analytical functions with their creative, intuitive perception (right cerebral hemisphere). In this way they can either stay with their plan or have the flexibility to adjust or change to suite the ‘real’ needs of the customer or colleague as well as keeping inline with their company’s policies. Balancing and leading these forms of perception are often how new and innovative ideas evolve.
